3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure, open-source backend platform. We implement the following security measures:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
- Encryption at rest: Data stored in our database is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
- Row-Level Security (RLS): Our database enforces row-level security policies ensuring that each user can only access their own data.
- Access controls: Administrative access to production data is strictly limited and requires multi-factor authentication.
- Regular audits: We periodically review our security practices and infrastructure to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Service. Each processes data as described below:
- Google Gemini (AI Processing): Your conversation prompts are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate AI responses. Google processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. We use the API in a configuration that does not allow Google to use your prompts to improve their general models.
- ElevenLabs (Voice Synthesis): Narrated audio content (such as audio stories and devotionals) is generated by sending text scripts prepared by our team to ElevenLabs' voice-synthesis API. Your personal data and conversations are not sent to ElevenLabs. See their Privacy Policy.
- Postmark (Email Delivery): Transactional emails (account confirmation, sign-in links, notifications) are delivered through Postmark, which processes your email address and message content for delivery. See their Privacy Policy.
- Stripe (Payment Processing): Stripe processes your payment information when you subscribe to a paid plan. We do not have access to your full credit card details. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
- Supabase (Data Storage & Authentication): Supabase provides our database, authentication, and backend infrastructure. Your account data and conversation history are stored in Supabase. See their Privacy Policy.
- Vercel (Hosting): Vercel hosts our web application and may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, user agents). See their Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their marketing purposes.

10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@faithline.ai, and we will take steps to delete such information.
Users between 13 and 18 years of age may use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children's online activities and to help enforce this Privacy Policy.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data to the United States and process it there.
Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
12. Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. However, we do not engage in cross-site tracking of our users. We will update this policy if a uniform standard for responding to DNT signals is established.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address associated with your account) or by posting a prominent notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
