Getting Started

What is Faithline?

Faithline is a Scripture-rooted spiritual companion platform. At its center is Emet, an AI companion drawing inspiration from Scripture and the broader tradition of Christian thought. Around Emet we have built reading plans, challenges, a prayer journal, an explore hub, audio content, community features, and more — all designed to help you stay connected to God between Sundays.

Who is Emet?

"Emet" is the Hebrew word for truth, faithfulness, and reliability. Emet is your AI spiritual companion. He is designed to provide thoughtful, Scripture-grounded answers to your questions about faith, life, doubt, relationships, and growth. His understanding is shaped by Scripture and the broader tradition of Christian thought, deliberately curated for Faithline — he does not search the open internet for spiritual answers, and his responses are synthesized in his own voice rather than quoted from any single source.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. You can talk to Emet directly from the homepage with no account required for your first 5 questions each day. A free account gets you the same 5 conversations with Emet per day — plus saved conversations, a journal, reading plans, and the community. Creating one takes about a minute.

Do I need any biblical knowledge to use this?

Not at all. Emet is designed to meet you exactly where you are — whether you have been a Christian for forty years or you are just starting to explore what any of this means. Ask in plain language. He will respond in plain language.

Where can I use Faithline?

On the web at faithline.ai and as a mobile app on both iOS and Android — download Faithline on the App Store or get it on Google Play. Your account, history, and progress sync across all of them, so you can pick up right where you left off.

Where do I get the mobile app?

Faithline is available on both major app stores: Download for iPhone & iPad on the Apple App Store and Get it on Google Play for Android. Not sure which to pick? Our download page lays out every option side by side. On the web, everything works right in your browser at faithline.ai — no install required.

What Faithline Includes Today

Faithline is a platform, not just a chatbot. Here is what is available to you right now.

Prayer Journal. A private space to write, think, and look back on what God has been doing in your life. Your entries are for your eyes only.

Explore Hub. A curated library of content organized by topic, season, and spiritual need — so you can find what you need when you need it.

Community. Connect with other believers, share playlists, send messages, join group conversations, and participate in challenges together.

Audio Stories & Playlists. AI-narrated audio content and curated playlists for your commute, your walk, or your morning routine.

Polls. Community polls that help reveal what people are thinking, feeling, and struggling with — and that help us serve you better over time.

Blog. 70+ articles covering everything from seasonal church content to mental health, relationships, calling, apologetics, and practical faith for daily life.

Voice Conversations with Emet. Pro members can talk with Emet in real time — a full voice conversation powered by Gemini Live, with a transcript saved to your history.

Plans & Pricing

We have intentionally kept the Free plan generous. Most of Faithline is available without paying anything.

Free — Daily verse and reflection, reading plans and challenges (browse, start, and even create your own), the Explore hub and blog, the prayer journal, bookmarks, polls, and community (friends, direct messages, and group chats — join any group you are invited to). It also includes 5 text conversations with Emet per day — the same daily allowance you get without an account, and it resets every morning.

Pro — Everything in Free, plus unlimited text conversations with Emet, real-time voice conversations, audio stories and media, text-to-speech ("Listen"), the ability to create and own your own groups, group calendar sync, Google Docs export, and priority support. $8.99/month, $89.99/year, or a one-time Lifetime purchase for those who want to pay once and never think about it again — available only to the first 100 members.

Every new account starts with a free trial of Pro, so you can experience the full Emet before deciding. When a trial or paid plan ends, you keep every Free feature — including your daily Emet messages.

You can change or cancel a paid plan at any time from your account settings. If you ever feel a charge does not match what you expected, email support@faithline.ai and we will make it right.

What Faithline Is Not

This is important, and we will keep emphasizing it.

Faithline does not replace your church. It is not a substitute for your pastor, your small group, or the real-life community of people who know your name and will be there when things get tough. We are a supplement — a bit of help between Sundays. We exist to help you stay connected to God during the rest of the week, not to replace the people God put in your life.

Faithline is not a therapist. If you are in crisis, dealing with addiction, or facing something that needs professional care, please seek it. Emet will always remind you of the same. We take that responsibility seriously.

Faithline is not finished. What you are using today is a platform that is still being actively developed. Features are being added. The content library is growing. The experience is being refined. You are not using a finished product — you are part of something being built with care, intention, and the belief that it is worth getting right.

Privacy, Ads & Your Data

Faithline is meant to be a calm, no-nonsense place to grow — not another app fighting for your attention or quietly monetizing your information. That conviction shows up in a few promises we take seriously:

We comply with the applicable data-protection regulations — but honestly, our standard is simpler than any regulation: treat your trust the way we would want ours treated. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Where Faithline Came From

Faithline began on a drive home from a retreat in the summer of 2025. The weekend's theme was discipleship — the everyday kind, woven into your life, the kind that does not demand a seminary degree or an empty calendar. The founder leads and manages several projects alongside a demanding full-time job, loves his faith deeply, and had to admit he was not making time for the kind of intentional spiritual growth the retreat had highlighted.

What if there were a way to bridge the gap between Sunday and the rest of the week? Not by replacing the church or the pastor, but by adding something — a friend available at 11 p.m. when a question pops up, or at 6 a.m. when you need encouragement before a tough day. Rooted in Scripture, sound in its theology, free of judgment.

That idea became Faithline.

It is, at its heart, a one-person project supported by a carefully chosen set of AI tools and systems. There is no team of venture-backed engineers. There is no marketing department. There is just a founder who believed this was worth building, many late nights, and a strong conviction that the work matters.

Trust & Transparency

Why is something missing or broken?

Faithline is built with care and is still growing. We ship features as they are ready, refine them based on what you tell us, and we are honest when something is not yet what it should be. If you run into a rough edge, please tell us — we read every piece of feedback at support@faithline.ai, prioritize fixes as fast as we can, and put real resources behind the things you tell us matter most.

How do I send feedback or a bug report?

The easiest way is to email support@faithline.ai. It goes directly to the team building this — nothing gets lost. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Even one-line "this could be better" notes are welcome and read.

Who actually built this?

Faithline is built by a small, listening team — at the center of it, one founder who needed something like this and chose to build it carefully, late at night, because the work matters. We are not a venture-backed product factory. Our About page tells the longer story.

Is my data private?

Yes — and we care about this enough to give it its own section above. The short version: no ads, we never sell your data, and your private content is never used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

What can I expect as Faithline grows?

You can expect us to be honest about what is and is not ready, to keep adding what users tell us they need, and to never lose sight of the fact that you trusted us early. We are on your side, no matter what.

Getting Great Answers from Emet

Emet is at his best when you treat the conversation like talking with a knowledgeable, patient friend — no special wording or "prompt skills" required. Just ask in plain language. That said, a few simple habits consistently lead to richer, more useful conversations. Here are four worth keeping in mind.

Be Specific

Instead of "Tell me about love," try "What does 1 Corinthians 13 teach about love in marriage?"

Ask for Overviews

Starting a new book? Ask Emet for an overview to get historical context and key themes before you dive in.

Follow Up

Emet remembers your conversation context. Ask things like "Can you go deeper on verse 5?" or "What does that mean for me today?"

Apply It

Try "How can I practice patience this week based on what Scripture teaches?" — Emet is great at moving from passage to practice.
