Delete Your Faithline Account
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in Faithline, the AI spiritual companion app for iPhone, iPad, Android and the web at faithline.ai. The app is published by Faithline, the developer listed on Google Play and the App Store.
Deleting your account is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and no way to recover the account or its content afterwards.
1. How to Delete Your Account
In the Faithline app (iPhone, iPad or Android)
- Open Faithline and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Tap Privacy Settings.
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
On the web
- Sign in at faithline.ai.

- Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account.
- Type DELETE and choose Yes, delete my account.
If you can no longer sign in
Email support@faithline.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete the account, and we will reply when it is done. We respond within 30 days.
2. Before You Delete
- Subscriptions bought in the App Store or on Google Play are not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel them in your Apple or Google account settings, or you may keep being charged.
- An active subscription bought on faithline.ai is cancelled automatically when you delete your account. If a payment on it is overdue, or you are not sure it was cancelled, write to support@faithline.ai.
- To keep a copy of your profile and your conversations with Emet, download them first with Data Export in Privacy Settings in the app, or in Settings on the web. The export does not include prayer journal entries, Bible notes or Echo notes.
3. What Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following is deleted immediately and permanently:
- Your account and sign-in details: your email address, password, and any Google or Apple sign-in linked to it.
- Your profile: your name, preferences, and the faith and wellbeing details you entered.
- Your conversations with Emet, their summaries, your ratings of Emet's answers, and everything Emet has learned about you.
- Your prayer journal entries.
- Your Bible notes, highlights and bookmarks.
- Your voice sessions with Emet and their transcripts.
- Conversations you shared by link (the links stop working).
- Direct messages and group chat messages you sent.
- Your notifications, push notification settings, email preferences, queued emails and the log of sign-in emails we sent you.
- Your usage limits, invite codes, referral rewards and promo code redemptions.
- If you used Faithline Echo: your recordings, audio files and Echo notes.
4. What Is Kept, and for How Long
A small amount of information is kept after your account is deleted:
- Usage analytics. Records of how the app was used (for example which screens were opened, the page address, and the type of device or browser) are kept with the link to your account removed. They are not deleted on a schedule today.
- Feedback and reports you sent. Feedback you sent, content you reported, and technical error reports from your device are kept with the link to your account removed. They are not deleted on a schedule today.
- Email delivery records. Records from our email provider of the emails we sent you (whether each one was delivered or bounced), which include your email address. Our email provider, Postmark, also keeps copies of sent emails for the period set by its own retention policy. If an email to you bounced permanently or you marked one of our emails as spam, your address stays on our do-not-email list so we never email it again.
- Messages to our team. Messages you sent through our contact form, or by email, are kept.
- A deletion record. A note that an account was deleted, with an internal number that no longer links to you, for our security audit trail. It does not include your name or email address.
- If you used Faithline Echo: we may retain a minimal, content-free record of the notice and your attestation for up to 24 months from each capture for legal, security and compliance purposes. If a record is under a legal hold, it is kept until the hold ends.
- Payment records held by payment providers. Stripe, Apple, Google and RevenueCat (which manages in-app subscriptions for us) keep their own records of your payments under their own policies, including to meet tax and financial reporting obligations.
- Crash and error reports. Kept by Sentry, our diagnostics provider, for the period set by its retention policy. Reports from the mobile app are not linked to your account. Reports from the website can include your IP address.
- Backups. Copies of deleted data can remain in our database backups until those backups are replaced in the normal course.
5. Deleting Some Data Without Deleting Your Account
You can delete individual prayer journal entries, Bible notes, highlights and bookmarks, direct message conversations, and Faithline Echo notes inside the app at any time. To clear what Emet has learned about you without deleting your chat history, use Reset Emet's Memory in Privacy Settings in the app, or in Settings on the web.
